Songfacts®:

  • "Never Let Go" is Jungkook's musical love letter to his group BTS' most devoted fans: the ARMY. The lyrics read like a normal love song, but dig a little deeper and you'll find a message specifically crafted for the BTS faithful – those who have stuck with BTS throughout the years of chart-topping hits, COVID lockdown and the mandatory military service served by all seven members. Jungkook assures the ARMY that the bond between them remains unbreakable.
  • Jungkook co-wrote "Never Let Go" with several collaborators, among them Melanie Fontana (the American songwriter who previously co-penned BTS bangers like "Euphoria" and "Run BTS") and producers Bak, Sim Fane, Star Boy and Outtatown. Their production pairs Jungkook's heartfelt lyrics with a light, tropical house-dance beat.
  • "Never Let Go" was released by Big Hit on June 7, 2024. It is part of BTS' Festa event, an annual celebration that coincides with the band's anniversary on June 13th.
