Songfacts®:

  • In this song, Justin Hayward finds himself walking the streets where he recalls fond memories of a time when he was young, carefree, and best of all, madly in love.

"I'm one of a generation that as teenagers, if we were lucky, were living just for love," he said. "With the most wonderful music, freedom and optimism. We didn't really understand at the time but I have to celebrate those days now, while we are still here, and we remember."
  • Hayward, best known for his work in The Moody Blues, recorded this song in Italy and released it as his first new music in two years. At 75, he was still touring and taking on an array of musical projects.
  • Hayward namechecks his 1986 Moody Blues hit "Your Wildest Dreams" in the lyric:

    Where moonlight on the innocent
    Wildest Dreams were found
