Songfacts®:

  • This is the second single from Korn's tenth studio album, "The Path of Totality. The song was produced by dubstep producers Skrillex and Kill the Noise and released on October 18, 2011.
  • Frontman Jonathan Davis on the song's meaning: "It's about me watching people who are so narcissistic destroy themselves. They basically eat themselves alive because of their narcissism. That's the gist of the story."
  • The song's music video was filmed on September 27, 2011 at Roxy Theatre in Hollywood. It was produced and directed by ShadowMachine Films, who are best known for their stop-motion animation shows Robot Chicken and Titian Maximum for Cartoon Network's Adult Swim.
  • The song was made available for free download on Korn's official website for three days from October 13 2011. It was Skrillex's idea but Davis was initially aghast when the producer suggested that the song be given away. He soon came around to the modern way of doing things when that one freebie almost doubled Korn's follower count on Facebook.
