Songfacts®:

  • The Nothing was crafted in the shadow of frontman Jonathan Davis mourning both the death of his estranged wife, Devon, and his mother. Here, Davis recounts his feelings of turmoil and anguish.

I'm lost, you'll never find me, ah
I watched you die, now watch me die

Davis is tormented by his suffering to the extent that he feels he will never be part of the normal world again.
  • Davis wrote the song with Billy Corgan. Speaking at a fan Q&A event in Beverly Hills, California, Davis recalled that he and the Smashing Pumpkins frontman sat down in two chairs. "He picked up an acoustic guitar and he started playing the chord progressions while I was singing the melodies," Davis said. "I've never done anything like that before, and it was a really cool experience."
  • Korn performed "You'll Never Find Me" live for the first time on July 18, 2019, at the Austin360 Amphitheater in Del Valle, Texas. It was the opening show of the band's co-headlining tour with Alice In Chains.
  • The song's music video was directed by Korn with Andrzej Gavriss (James Arthur's "Empty Space"). The chilling clip sees the band performing in the desert on the eve of a biological apocalypse.

  • Ste4lth from Bakersfield, CaThe correct lyrics to the chorus are 'So talk in vain / the truth you hide / take the pain / inside'. Take a listen to MONUMENTAL LIVE 2021 recording of You'll Never Find Me. Clearly Jonathan Davis is not saying 'Come give me...'
