Songfacts®:

  • This electropop tune finds Kylie Minogue singing of a relationship where her lover isn't connecting. The song was written by newcomer Chelcee Grimes during a writing session in Copenhagen with Danish pop producer Cutfather, who was also responsible for Kylie's 2010 single "Get Outta My Way."
  • Grimes recalled to the BBC that Cutfather asked her to pen a song for Kylie. "I wrote it in ten minutes and they sent it to her that night and she was recording it the next morning," she said. "I think it was a bit of beginners luck really."

Grimes has gone on to write songs for the likes of Dua Lipa, The Saturdays and Olly Murs.
