The first single from former Flyleaf singer Lacey Sturm's debut album Life Screams is an optimistic song that finds her paying tribute to the miracle of life.
Every morning I see another miracle I can't believe I'm living the impossible We are the sign and we are the wonder Another day of living the impossible
Sturm explained: "I was listening to the radio one day and I said to myself, 'If I hear one more song telling people to kill themselves and go to hell, I'm going to have to put a record out!'"
"I just think it would be a good thing to have a voice in the mix of all the hopelessness that actually gives you a light at the end of the tunnel; a voice that's still honest about the pain and struggle, but can also scream, 'Hey, wake up and be alive because there's hope!'"
John Lennon's lead guitar work on Yoko Ono's "Walking On Thin Ice" proved to be his final creative act. It was upon their return home after completing laying down the track that Lennon was murdered by Mark David Chapman.
