Lemar told Real.com about this song, which was co-produced by SoulShock and Karlin. Said Lemar: "It's a song I wrote in LA and it's about the communication breakdown that can happen in relationships - when you're fighting and you don't really know what you're fighting about. It's one person saying to the other - if only you knew how much I love you, you wouldn't be feeling like you are."
The song "Sadeness" by Enigma (the one with the chanting monks), got its name from the French novelist Marquis de Sade, who believed sex had to be painful in order to be pleasurable - thus the word "sadism."
Meghan Trainor and her producer Kevin Kadish originally wrote "All About That Bass" for another artist to record. However, after Epic Records boss LA Reid heard Meghan play a demo of the song on a ukulele, he signed the young songwriter to his label and told her she should sing it.
