Songfacts®:

  • Lindsay Ell is a country singer who is known for her blues-based electric guitar sound. Growing up in Calgary, she was mentored by Randy Bachman before studying at Berklee College of Music and moving to Nashville.

In our interview with Ell, she said that this song is about living in the moment. "Onstage every night I lock into that groove, and it's like, I don't want to go home, I just want to stay right here in this moment," she said. "So I could almost sing it to the crowd, sing it to the audience."
  • Ell wrote this after completing a tour with The Band Perry, which took her all over Europe. She noticed that many in the audience were very attentive and paid attention to the lyrics, even if English wasn't their first language.
