Singer Chester Bennington in Kerrang! magazine: "It's definitely one of the poppier songs on the album. We have to be very careful sometimes that we don't lose the integrity of what we're doing - we're a very dark band and we like it like that. We talk about uncomfortable things and try to make you comfortable with that. We tried to do that here in a more poppy song and I really like that aspect of the album."

Sam from Clarence, NyIn my town, there was a terrible plane crash less than 26 hours to Valentine's Day that left 50 dead. This is for the people of flight 3407 who died on February 12th, 2009. R.I.P.
Steph from Commack, Nysigh....:( good song..terribly sad though

John Lennon wrote "The Continuing Story of Bungalow Bill" about Richard Cooke, a hunter he met at the Maharishi's camp in India. Cooke hasn't shot anything since the camp, except with his camera - he became a freelance photographer for National Geographic.
"Sloop John B" is a traditional West Indian folk song, and it was a huge hit for The Beach Boys in 1966. They tweaked the lyric, "This is the worst trip since I've been born" to "...I've ever been on" as a wink to acid culture.
