Songfacts®:

  • This stripped-back dance jam finds Little Mix employing various metaphors comparing lovers' intimacy to a "holiday." On the sexy, summer single, the all-female quartet claim their men "put the sun up in my sky" and have "got that heat like the summer." Released during the 2020 lockdown when most people had to cancel their vacations, the Little Mix girls are happy their guys make them "feel" like they are somewhere hot.
  • Little Mix's Jade Thirwall, Perrie Edwards and Leigh-Anne Pinnock wrote the flirty song with their frequent collaborator Camille Purcell and the Goldfingers production duo. The same six also penned the girls' previous single, "Break Up Song." Purcell and Goldfingers previously penned the foursome's 2018 song "Think About Us."
  • The song was one of six that Jade Thirwall, Perrie Edwards and Leigh-Anne Pinnock wrote in a session with Camille Purcell during which they were downing champagne and loving life. Perrie recalled to MTV News: "We were just thinking, oh gosh, it's like, what can we write about, we feel good... Then we just started writing about how boys can make you feel like a holiday, and then that's how it came about. It just literally fell into place."
