album explores a different experience from the singer-songwriter's childhood. This seven-minute-long closer is about a close friendship she had in her freshman year of high school. It nearly evolved into something more, but Dacus wasn't out to herself at the time. "And actually, she was my first friend that ever came out to me," she recalled to The Independent
. "And I think there was some implication that like, 'OK, your turn,' and I just didn't get it."
