Our Love

Album: No Lookin' Back (1985)
  • This song is from the film No Mercy starring Richard Gere, and was co-written with Michael McDonald's close friend David Pack. McDonald claims to have written it for his wife Amy Holland, a singer who he married in 1983. On the same album he covers one of her tunes as well: "I Hang on Your Every Word."
  • It features the much lamented Toto drummer Jeff Porcaro, who played with Michael on his first three albums and during his Steely Dan days. Porcaro died in 1992 at age 38. >>
