Songfacts®:

  • This self-reflecting song was originally co-written and recorded by Cheyenne Kimball. The MTV Reality TV Star also did a song called "Full Circle," which is an entirely different composition to Miley Cyrus's "Full Circle." However, Miley's co-writers on "Full Circle" (Scott Cutler and Anne Preven) were also Cheyenne's co-writers on "These Four Walls," so everything does come full circle.

  • Trisha from Coon Rapids, MnJust because she didn't write the song ALL BY HERSELF, doesn't mean she didn't write it.
She contributed, so she DID write it.
  • Hope from Naperville, IlCheyenne Kimball---so much better
  • Ashley from City, IaAnd Miley claims to have written all but 2 songs on her album, when Girls Just Want to Have Fun, Breakout, and THIS SONG aren't hers. Either she's too stupid to count or she's just a liar.
