"It's an angry song I wrote while I was sat next to the person it's actually about on a very long drive after our lives were put at risk in someone else's hands. I was sick of hearing that apathetic bulls--t when they didn't know what it was to being in the real world and to really be fending for yourself."
Fall Out Boy's "The Kids Aren't Alright" song title is not a reference to The Offspring's 1998 single of the same name. It actually alludes to The Who's 1979 rockumentary film called The Kids Are Alright.
