  • In this power ballad Bellamy evokes images of love as he sings of there being "no guiding light left inside." Like a number of the tracks on The Resistance, it appears to have been influenced by the love story between Winston Smith and Julia in George Orwell's novel about a future repressive totalitarian regime, 1984.
