Songfacts®:

  • The second single from Nelly's M.O. album is a drum driven track that was produced by and features Pharrell Williams. The Neptunes, who are Williams' production team along with Chad Hugo, were responsible for several of Nelly's early hits including 2002's "Hot In Herre" and 2005's "Flap Your Wings."
  • The song co-stars rapper Nicki Minaj, whose verse includes her bigging up her Beats By Dr. Dre endorsement deal for their Pill speaker.
  • Originally the track just featured Nelly and Pharrell and the St. Lunatic sat on it for a year before he had a brainwave. "We were coming back to the records that we did, closing out the album and putting everything together and I was just like, 'Yo I think Nicki might be dope on this,'" Nelly told MTV News "We made it happen and I was right. She killed it!"
