Songfacts®:

  • Here, Offset collaborates with his friend Travis Scott. Their previous joint songs include the Migos track "Kelly Price" and "Ghostface Killers" with 21 Savage and Metro Boomin.
  • The song opens with the chorus, where Offset's hunger for success and riches is front and center. It's like he's saying he's blessed in his grind.

Offset's verse goes deep, thanking the Almighty but also wondering why so much bad stuff has happened lately, like losing his bandmate Takeoff in November 2022 and his grandma passing. He's searching for answers in a world with no guarantees.

Scott, on the other hand, flaunts his baller lifestyle and tips his hat to Takeoff.
  • Offset produced the song himself with FnZ (Michael Mulé and Isaac De Boni), Vinylz and Maneesh; the five wrote the song alongside Scott and Douglas Ford.
  • Offset first previewed "Say My Grace" in a club on January 14, 2023. Three months later Scott brought out Offset as a special guest during his set at Rolling Loud Thailand and the two performed the track live together for the first time. Offset released the song through Motown as the fourth single from Set It Off on October 13, 2023, along with the album.
  • Offset and Scott filmed the video in Pattaya, Thailand in April 2023 when they were in the country for Rolling Loud Thailand. Director Maya Table shot scenes at The Sanctuary of Truth Museum, Nong Noch Botanical Gardens, and the Pattaya Floating Market.
