Songfacts®:

  • This song was written about a dream vocalist Sam Fryer had where his bandmate, keys player Pete Mayhew, ran amok in the Welsh town of Fishguard. Fryer explained to NME: "We were staying on this farm in the Welsh wilderness, and we'd just set up in two barns. Somebody told us we'd have very vivid dreams. Sure enough, I had one about Pete going on a murderous rampage."
