  • Victoria Louise Lott is best known for her stage name, Pixie Lott. She garnered the nickname from her mother who thought she looked like a fairy as a baby. As a songwriter and vocalist, Lott has been working diligently to become a professional singer since she was 13 years old. She had also taken dance and acting classes throughout her school years. When she was 14, she found an ad in The Stage, a UK newspaper, which was seeking someone to be the next hot diva. After answering the ad, Lott was invited to Los Angeles to meet with record executive L.A. Reid, who also is responsible for signing the biggest acts in the business including Lady Gaga, Mariah Carey, Nicki Minaj, Kanye West, and Justin Bieber. Lott recalls that at that moment, her life was completely changed. She said, "I'd get to bunk off school to record demos in L.A. and New York!"
  • Lott's first two singles from her debut album, Turn It Up, were both #1 on the UK singles chart. Her first hit single, "Mama Do," has been recorded for the ϋber popular computer game, The Sims 3, in the gaming language of Simlish.
  • She has received a nomination for three BRIT Awards, as well as Best New Act by the 2009 MTV Europe Music Awards. She has won the Best UK & Ireland New Act and Best Push Artist.
  • As a songwriter, Lott has been plenty busy with writing songs for other artists. She penned songs for Alexandra Burke, the X Factor winner, and also wrote two songs for the Dutch X Factor winner, Lisa Hordijk: "Promises, Promises" and "No Good For Me."
  • Lott has also taken on acting roles, and was featured as Judy in the Nickelodeon film Fred: The Movie in 2010. She is renowned for her beauty, and has been voted as No. 31 of the 100 Sexiest Women in the World by FHM.
  • Lott has stated that her first crush was Mark Paul Gosselaar as his character, Zach, from the hit '90s teen show, Saved by the Bell. Her favorite breakfast cereal is Special K, and as an avid traveler, her favorite city to visit is Rome.
