Songfacts®:

  • Robert Plant and Alison Kraus recorded this original Christmas song for the festive-themed romantic comedy film Love The Coopers. It represents the pair's first recording since their Grammy Album of the year Raising Sand, which was released in 2007.

Plant and Krauss abandoned work on a follow-up after some unsuccessful writing sessions. "I think we ran out of cakes," Plant told USA Today in 2010 lightheartedly. "There was an amazing amount of cake and food and coffees and sodas. By about 11 o'clock in the morning, we were ready for a nap."
