  • On her sophomore EP, Songs For Healing, ROSIE is getting to know herself again after a breakup - that includes learning to differentiate her wants from her needs. In "I Should Just Go To Bed," the lonely pop singer wants to reach out to her ex, but realizes she needs to resist the urge and go to sleep. She told the Songfacts Podcast the song was based on a real-life scenario.

"I knew that what I wanted most was to be loved and to be in a healthy relationship, and to be healthy myself, and I knew I couldn't do that with this person," she recalled. "So sitting there, instead of texting them, I actually really did go to bed. And I went to bed every night and I never texted them. That's a big moment when you realize what you need, what you need long term, and you listen to that voice, you listen to that gut."
  • ROSIE, whose career took off when her song "Never The 1" went viral on TikTok in 2020, wants to use her music to help people. That includes encouraging others to embrace their authentic selves despite the pressure to look perfect on social media.

"I want more people to feel safe online and feel like they don't have to wear makeup or use filters, and they can express themselves," she said.
