  Nicole Wynter, his girlfriend when they were teenagers. She died from a brain tumor when she was 17. "After she died, I saw her in one or two dreams and she was OK, smiling at me," Sean told The Guardian. "I felt better after that. She was special to me."
• The song is part of Sean Paul's 2005 album The Trinity, which includes the #1 hit "Temperature." "Never Gonna Be The Same" was released as a single in some territories, and although it was never a hit, many have found solace in the song when mourning loved ones of their own.
