We Be Moving

Album: Soul Surfer (2015)

  • This song reflects Seasick Steve's life of drifting from place to place. "Moving just got so deep in my blood," he told The Sun. "I kind of wish it hadn't because, more than anything, I became this person who just moved on. Whether it was in a trailer or under a bridge, that's what I had to call home."

"That song is about me and my gal... Got to be three years we've been married," he continued. "And I was married to someone else. Before that, and I was living on my own, many years before that."

"I've lived in so many places I couldn't possibly count," Steve concluded. "Must be hundreds."
