Songfacts®:

  • Shayne Ward was asked by Female First how "Breathless" reflected his personality. The former winner of the UK talent show The X Factor replied: "'Breathless' reflects my personality because people have seen the kind of emotional side of the ballad that I sang before, but they get to see a deeper side to it because the song is a deeper song, its one of the best songs I have heard in a long, long time, I've said it to everyone, it is, it was written for me when you listen to the lyrics they are just so special. It's just a beautiful song so I think people get to see a deeper side to me."
