Songfacts®:

  • Sigala had a version of this song for a long time but he felt it was too generic and poppy. The producer told OfficialCharts.com that he completely transformed the tune, changing it up into "the chilled summer songs" he was listening to in the mid 2010s such as Duke Dumont's "I Got U" and Alex Adair's "Make Me Feel Better." This new version gave him a nostalgic feel and was the one he recorded for Brighter Days.
  • The song features vocals by Kylie Minogue. Though Sigala didn't work with the Australian singer in the studio, he met her on the Sounds Like Friday Night TV show in her dressing room and played her the new version over his phone. He recalled: "She was dancing around the green room and I was like, 'what is happening in my life right now?!'"
