Songfacts®:

  • Smiley is a rapper from Pelham Park, located in Toronto's Junction district. Drake is a big supporter of his fellow Toronto artist and he listed Smiley as one of the inspirations for his 2018 album Scorpion. This fast-talking collaboration between the pair arrived via Drake's OVO Sound label on July 23, 2021.
  • Drake's chorus verse finds him repping Nike, his 2020 single "Toosie Slide," his hard work and private jet.

Smiley raps about how he's living an extravagant lifestyle with an "over the top" crib and car.
  • This is the second collaboration between the two rappers. At the beginning of his verse, Smiley references their first time working together on a track titled "Organization."

Got a verse from the boy, and it leaked
He sent me a new one said use it instead

Smiley and Drake recorded "Organization" in 2019 but it leaked online. When it was later released for streaming on March 4, 2020, it didn't credit Drake's verse. Smiley gives props to the OVO leader for making another song with him to compensate for the missed opportunity.
  • Tay Keith produced the song. The Memphis producer previously worked with Drake on his Scorpion track "Nonstop," and collaborations with Blocboy JB ("Look Alive"), Travis Scott ("Sicko Mode") and Lil Baby and Gunna ("Never Recover').
