Songfacts®:

  • The third track on the 1974 Tooth, Fang & Claw album was written by Ted Nugent and arranged by him with Rob Grange. "Hibernation" is a blistering instrumental which also appears on the 1978 Double Live Gonzo album wherein it runs to nearly 17 minutes. Nugent also performed it in his 1976 appearance at Rockpalast, the film of which shows him in full flight as a guitar hero: posing, jumping around and generating some terrific feedback with his beloved Gibson Byrdland. >>>
