Jack Black told Reuters that the duo dug deep for a lot of the tracks on the Rize Of The Fenix album including this Mariachi-style tale of a Mexican girl in distress. He explained that it's a, "story about a man who falls in love with a woman who can't let go of her abusive relationship. It doesn't sound funny... we're exploring some deeper, darker material."
Ariana Grande's collaboration with Zedd, "Break Free" came about after the Russian-German producer overheard Grande performing at a label showcase while he was backstage, and he mentioned to his team that he wanted to work with her.
"Friends In Low Places" by Garth Brooks was written by two Nashville songwriters after a meal in a local restaurant. One of them forgot his money, but said not to worry, "I have friends in low places. I know the cook."
