  • Dave Wakeling, who was a guitarist and vocalist in The English Beat, told us, "The song 'Best Friend,' I'm actually singing it to myself in the same mirror that 'Mirror in the Bathroom' was written in. It was actually my sister's bathroom in Birmingham. 'Best Friend' was singing a song to a reflection, you know, I just found I'm your best friend - you." (Read the full Dave Wakeling interview.)
