  • Ting Ting Jules De Martino told Rhapsody how this song came about: "Me and Katie (White) had access to a piano for an afternoon. We wrote this track in 15 minutes sitting at the piano. We phoned Mike Pickering. I think he was on a beach somewhere on holiday, just as all A&R men do. And we called him and we played this track on the phone to him saying, "Hey, look! We can play the piano!" (I'm not a pianist. I don't pretend to be. But I can hold my hand with most instruments apart from violins and brass.) He called back the next day saying he thought the song was amazing."
  • De Martino explained to Rhapsody about the song's lyrics: "We were getting nervous about the record deal and one thing Katie said is, 'What have we got to lose? If everything goes wrong, we can just walk, right?' It's reminding ourselves that we don't need to get too stressed about this."
