This song features vocals by Icona Pop. The Swedish duo appeared alongside Tiësto at the 2014 Ultra Music Festival to perform the song.
Tiesto previously collaborated with Icona Pop in 2013 when he remixed their hit song "I Love It."
Tiesto told MTV News that Icona Pop brought a feminine energy to the song. "I met Icona Pop years ago and we always got along very well. I always wanted to work with them, but they were so busy with 'I Love It,'" he said. "They make [Let's Go] good! I make a lot of manly songs and they made it more girly… it's nice to make girly songs too."
Carla Thomas became the first woman to achieve a Top 10 hit on the Hot 100 with a song she wrote herself when "Gee Whiz (Look At His Eyes)" reached the chart's top tier in 1961. Thomas was just 16-years-old when she penned it.
