Songfacts®:

  • Trinity Home is a singer–songwriter and rapper who performs under the moniker Tink - her nickname since elementary school. Tink dropped her first mixtape, Winter's Diary, in 2012 when she was still in high school. She followed it up with a series of releases which made her a local star in her native Chicago.

Tich's big break came when Timbaland got wind of her work, after being introduced by producers Da Internz, resulting in a recording contract with Epic Records via the super producer's Mosley Music Group. In November 2014, Timbaland released an alternate version of Jay Z and Rick Ross' "Movin' Bass" that featured Tink, making her a trending topic.
  • This Timbaland-produced credo of sorts is Tink's first official single from her debut album, in which she flips the premise of Biggie's classic "Ten Crack Commandments," delivering her own message. Taking shots at the kind of "Ratchet Chick" she's referring to in the song, Tink is full of disdain for the stereotypical promiscuous female of these times.
  • Tink switches between rapping and singing in the cut throughout the song. "I'm in a totally different mindset when I'm singing," she told Complex. "When I'm rapping, like a turn up song, I'm thinking about what the people want to hear, this is what they're going to like. When I'm singing, I'm like telling my story. I'm not worried if people like it, I'm just trying to be truthful."
