Songfacts®:

  • This sassy tune finds Zara Larsson telling a guy that it ain't her fault he's so good looking, and she's not responsible for her actions. Co-written with her "Never Forget You" duet partner MNEK, the song was originally about two women arguing over a man.

"The original lyrics were, 'It ain't my fault your man's calling my phone. It ain't my fault you can't keep him at home,'" Larsson explained to NME. "When we recorded it, I was like, 'I can't sing this! What?!' So we had to rewrite it… You gotta have a girl code."
