  • There's nowhere in the world that I would rather be
    Then with you my love
And there's nothing in the world that I would rather see
    Than your smiles, my love

For united we stand, divided we fall
And if our backs should ever be against the wall
We'll be together, together, you and I

For united we stand, divided we fall
And if our backs should ever be against the wall
We'll be together, together, you and I

And if the world around you falls apart, my love
    Then I'll still be here
And if the going gets too hard along the way
    Just you call, I'll hear

For united we stand, divided we fall
And if our backs should ever be against the wall
We'll be together, together, you and I

For united we stand, divided we fall
And if our backs should ever be against the wall
We'll be together, together, you and I

For united we stand, divided we fall
And if our backs should ever be against the wall
We'll be together, together Writer/s: John Goodison, Tony Hiller

  • Sharon Foley-holland from SurreyGreat song, it makes you proud to be British. Perhaps we could all do with a little more of this today.
  • Howard from St. Louis Park, Mn Though the song was recorded in 1970, the chorus still resonates today as an anthem for uniting our country as we head into a presidential election. When I head Democratic nominee Joe Biden's acceptance speech Thursday night, I played the song on youtube after he spoke. His experience as vice president under Obama is a big plus and to me he is the perfect choice to lead our nation. United We Stand is still relevant as we go through the COVID 19 pandemic and the unrest after the George Floyd murder in Minneapolis.
  • Paul from North CarolinaI arranged and recorded the song registered BMI, Copyright Wahington D.C. U.S.A.
  • Camille from Toronto, OhBeautifully sung song with lyrics to match.
  • Zabadak from London, EnglandThis Brotherhood of Man was a completely different unit to the Brotherhood of Man from later years!
