  • When the sun goes to bed
That's the time you raise your head
That's your lot in life, Lalena
    Can't blame ya
    Lalena

    Arty-tart, la-de-da
Can your part get much sadder?
That's your lot in life, Lalena
    Can't blame ya
    Lalena

Run your hand through your hair
    Paint your face with despair
That's your lot in life, Lalena
    Can't blame ya
    Lalena

When the sun goes to bed
That's the time you raise your head
That's your lot in life, Lalena
    I can't blame ya
    Lalena

    Arty-tart, oh so la-de-da
Can your part ever get, ever get much sadder?
That's your lot in life, Lalena
    I can't blame ya
    No, no, no, Lalena

  • Lalena Turner from Stillwatee, OklahomaYes I was one of the chosen ones that was blessed to have such a unique name and since I never had children of my own, I have a few great nieces, God children and friends children named after none other than me, because I wanted the name to carry on..... not all of them are spelled the same as mine, just 2 and 3 have my name a middle name. We spelled one of my great nieces LaLainya so it would be pronounced correctly and another is Laleña and so on....I feel very blessed...and the lady wasn't an actual prostitute she was in The Threepenny Opera as a socially conscious musical.
