  • Joe from QuebecAnybody know the name of the woman who is the Mom of shady in the video? The one who stands near the door?
  • Janeen Skokani from DearbornLibre f--ked the song up. It'd be better as
My English teacher tried to f--k me in Junior High.
Only problem was my English teacher was a guy.
Chased him around with a stapler.
  • Michael from Las Cruces, NmI like the semester joke better than the gay joke :P
  • Sonia-doris from Targu-mures, RomaniaThe ventriloquist is Ghita Muresan, Romanian retired basketball player. He also played in "My Giant" with Billy Crystal.
  • Michael from Deridder, Lai listened to the ICP (insane clown posse) parody of this and i'm thinking: "whoa. i wonder if trevor (my diehard Eminem-obsessed friend) has heard this....he'd be SOOOOO p1ssed!!!!"
but then again, i was laughing a little at the end, too, so...i might want to keep my mouth shut in front of him (trevor).
  • Consuela from Smithfield, Ncthe girl at the end of the video is monica lewinsky, the girl who bill clinton was accused of having sex with
  • Logan from Lawrenceburg, Kyok not that i dnt love this part of the music video but does anybody know who the girl is tht comes out from under the podium after shes done sucking the presidential cock of president shady???
  • Saltine from Htown, TxEminem will go down as the best rapper ever. Like the Bee Gees are disco, Michael Jackson is pop, Eminem is rap
  • Andre from Bridgetown, BarbadosHow could Eminem be homophobic when he has done a remake of Stan with Elton John replacing Dido's voice LIVE. And even if he were homophobic.
  • Zul from Cotonou, BeninI love eminem so much fans should holla at me at zulkifflbare@yahoo.com
  • Austin from Smallsville, NeIn the second line he says "Wanna see me stick Nine Inch Nails through each one of my eyelids" can be a reference to Trent Razor.
  • Atsve from Cairns, AustraliaSome people are different than others and thats why Eminem has his attitude. Some think that Eminem is a homophobic, arrogant and degrading rapper but his is because the simply don't like him as a rapper. He is one one of the greatest lyricists ever and he puts his rhymes together like water flowing through a pipe. He is amazing and there are people who can not accept that, you're the arrogant ones. Eminem is influential, probably more than Tupac in some ways, I mean, how many white kids did you see rapping or trying to rap before Eminem came along, 1 in a 1000 maybe, if they wanted to, they were to shy too do it. But since Eminem came along, you've got Hiltop Hoods, a line of New Zealand rappers, tons of Australian rappers and a few US rapppers, none making it very big, but hey, Eminem did this and therefore he is very influential.
  • Allen from Bethel, AkCripes. I've heard this more then I needed to...Why do rappers always make a point that they're "In Da Howze" anywho?
  • Dave from Cardiff, WalesSo Eminem has had a few UK No.1's under his belt. So have Westlife. So have the Spice Girls. So have Westlife. Would you say that any of them were more talented than Eminem?? Chart positions indicate that at the time of release a record was more popular than some others, nowt more. Eminem is good as far as his genre goes, but he is way over-rated, and his attitude towards other people sucks. He may have had a hard life, but that's no excuse for his attitude. US writer Dave Pelzer has had a much worse life than Eminem, but he doesn't go sniping others at every opportunity, does he?
  • Jondeevoy from Sittingbourne, EnglandStan was no.1 before Bob The Builder
  • Jondeevoy from Sittingbourne, EnglandYes Yes Yes Eminem homophobic, blah blah blah...So what it got beaten by Flat Eric, ha ha ha, is that embrassing, The Who, The Sex Pistols, The Smiths never had a no.1 hit. Strawberry Field was denied by Please Release me, Wonderwall by Oasis and Common People by Pulp where denied by Robson And Jeromne, i know who I would rather listen to, as for Mr. Oizo, he never really had a follow up hit now did he, I'm sure Eminem has a couple of British No.1 under his belt, Lose It, Lose Yourself, Stan (which was no.1 before Bob The Builder, so denied is untrue), The Real Slim Shady, Without Me, yes I believe he does. As for the sample, its from Labi Siffre song 'I got the blues' which has also been sampled Jay-Z. Though whilst it was written by Labi, the instrumental was written by two men who are probaly not know by the rest of the world, but are know to us brits as novelty cockney (east london) duo Chas N Dave
  • Chelsey Loudermilk from Oaktown, InThis song is so awsome I love Him and I am glad he isn't with kim anymore
  • Kara from Green Bay, WiI love Eminem with the passion. He is the first rapper that i listened to which could explain why i turned out the way that i did. I love all the songs that he sings and everything that he does. i hope that i will be just like him!!
    Signed
    Skittles
  • Sarah Floyd from Bloomingdale, Ilwhat is this song supposed to mean! i dont get it and i like this song. this song is the greatest and i like some other songs to him to!
  • Jeevan from Brampton, CanadaThis is one of the most famous songs of Eminem's. It's pretty old, but I liked it.
  • Nikki from Brampton, Canadai love this song! its so catchy. i think he is so funny.
  • Develop from Silsbee, TxEminem is not the best rapper ever. He is good but doen't consistently use his talent as best as he can.
  • Matt from Millbrae, Caall eminem has to do is show ICP the charts for who's sold more records and then he can just laugh and walk away. Insane Clown Posse are a bunch of white trash metal-rap posers. I'm not a huge fan of rap, but Eminem kicks ass.
  • Daniel from Bloomington, InI just found this really cool site where you can play parts of songs backwards. They have a snippet of "My Name Is," in which you can hear the words "It's Slim, It's Eminem, It's Eminem, It's Eminem, It's Eminem" when the clip is played backwards. I have no idea if this was intentional, but it is pretty cool. Check it out: http://jeffmilner.com/backmasking.htm
  • Will from Kansas City, MoIn response to Erich from Atlanta above, the ventriloquist in the video is actually Gheorghe Muresan. He is from Romania and is actually listed as 7'7". He was drafted by Washington Wizards in 1993 and played six seasons, including one with New Jersey. He retired in 2000 to pursue an acting career, with "My Name Is" being one of his first roles. He also was featured in a late 1990s comedy with Billy Crystal called "My Giant".
  • Erich from Atlanta, GaA question: In the video, there's a few scenes depicting Eminem as a dummy being manipulated by an extremely tall ventriloquist. I was wondering whether the ventriloquist was played by Matthew McGrory, the 7'6" actor who recently passed away. (Matthew McGrory was probably best known for his role as the giant in Tim Burton's "Big Fish," and also appeared in Rob Zombie's movies "House of 1,000 Corpses" and "The Devil's Rejects.")
  • Chelsea from Immingham, United Stateseminem is ace!!!
  • Mike from The 503, Orall of you can say what you say but remember the song "say what you say" so then all of you who think like takein a shot at eminem can say what they like just remember it will come bac. just wait till a song comes on about you then i will see how is so tuff now. anyway dont get so mad cuz eminem is the best rapper out there.if you dont beleave me then try to win a rap battle wit him then you can say what you like about him to his face i really dout that he sees this and if he did then you would hear your name on some of his song slashin right bac at you. he chaged rap music to day look at all the white boys who think they can rap they proply can but never stack up to eminem and yes im a white boy to
  • Anna from Brooklyn, NyNo .... im homophobic !! losers
  • Scott Baldwin from Edmonton, CanadaNo hes not,its 50 cent who is homophobic.
  • Cok from Dillon, Codid you know Slim is homophopic... Wow Crazy
  • Dave from Cardiff, WalesIt's ironic that Eminem, a man who writes blatantly homophobic lyrics, should have used a sample of a s tune by the gay icon Labi Siffre (best known for the original versions of Madness' "It Must Be Love" and Rik Waller's "Something Inside (So Strong)"). Embarassingly for Mr. Mathers, "My Name Is" (a No.2 hit in the UK) was held off the summit by Flat Eric - a puppet character from a popular Levi's commercial - and his tuneless instrumental "Flat Beat" released under the pseudonym 'Mr. Oizo'. It was double misery for Eminem the following year when he was beaten to No.1 in the UK by animated character Bob The Builder - but that's another story...
