  • It's caving in around me
What I thought was solid ground
I tried to look the other way
    But I couldn't turn around
It's OK for you to hate me
For all the things I've done
    I've made a few mistakes
But I'm not the only one

    Step away from the ledge
    I'm coming down

    I could never be
    What you want me to
    You pulled me under
    To save yourself
    (Save yourself)
    You will never see
    What's inside of me
I pulled you under just to save myself

    Was there ever any question
On how much I could take?
You kept feeding me your bullshit
    Hoping I would break
    Is there anybody out there?
    Is there anyone who cares?
    Is there anybody listening?
Will they hear my final prayers?

    Step away from the ledge
    I'm coming down

    I could never be
    What you want me to
    You pulled me under
    To save yourself
    (Save yourself)
    You will never see
    What's inside of me
I pulled you under just to save myself
    (Save myself)

    It's caving in around me
    (Caving in)
    It's tearing me apart
    (Tearing me)
It's all coming down around me
    (Coming down)
    Does anyone
    Anyone
    Care at all?

    I will never be
    What you want me to
    You pull me under
    I pull you under

    I could never be
    What you want me to
    You pulled me under
    To save yourself
    (Save yourself)
    You will never see
    What's inside of me
I pulled you under just to save myself Writer/s: IVAN MOODY, JEREMY SPENCER, KEVIN CHURKO, THOMAS JASON GRINSTEAD, ZOLTAN BATHORY, ZOLTAN BATHROY

  • Ffdp Saved My Soul from Somewhere In Purgatory This song always reminded me of a horrible relationship I endured. 6 years of hell and lies, always feeling less than enough. No matter how hard I tried I was always behind in his eyes. Taught me alot about people, love and selflessness. Sometimes the heart lies. You can't please everyone, and if you always feel worthless in the eyes of someone you truly love, it's love for you but not them. You can't be what someone else wants. Either they accept you as you are, or they piss off. If anything it taught me, people can lie bold faced. While you are struggling for their affection, they can screw your best friend and leave you broken feeling like it was all your fault. In time you see it wasn't you, but when it first hits, it's comparable to hearing "were sorry but it's cancer, and you have 6 months". I fell so far, but it made me stronger climbing out of that hole, especially when I looked down and saw you still struggling to get off the bottom..
  • Branden from Orange Park, FlThis song.. always makes me depressed because I always wanna just end it all.. I been bullied and been through horrible relationships been depressed daily but yet I still live.. because there are far more better things in life and I grown to know this. people go through these things and wanna just end it all..but just think of what you are doing.. life sucks and its up to you to make a better choice in life then end it all...
  • Charlie from Las Vegas, NvIt's songs like this that remind me of why I started working out in the first place, and why I am who I am today. m/
