  • No I'm no angel
No I'm no stranger to the street
    I've got my label
So I won't crumble at your feet

    And I know baby
So I've got scars upon my cheek
    And I'm half crazy
Come on and love me baby

So you find me hard to handle
    Well I'm easier to hold
So you like my spurs that jingle
And I never leave you cold
So I might steal your diamonds
I'll bring you back some gold

I'm no angel, no I'm no angel
No I'm no stranger to the dark
    Let me rock your cradle
Let me start a fire with your spark

    Oh come on baby
Come and let me show you my tattoo
    Let me drive you crazy
Come on and love me, baby

So you don't give a darn about me
    I never treat you bad
I won't ever lift a hand to hurt you
And I'll always leave you glad
So I might steal your diamonds
I'll bring you back some gold
    I'm no angel

    No I'm no angel
No I'm no stranger to the dark
    Let me rock your cradle
Let me start a fire in your heart

    Oh come on, baby
Come and let me show you my tattoo
    Let me drive you crazy
Come on and love me baby

    Oh come on, baby
    Drive me crazy
    Drive me crazy
    Oh come on, baby
    Oh come on, baby
Oh come on, baby Writer/s: Anthony George Chalk, Philip John Palmer

  • Mark Franklin from Jackson MoOne of my top 5 favorites. I’m no Angel I play almost everyday. That’s what I tell my wife of 40yrs. I have played this song back to back sometimes 10 times in a row. Just watched Chers interview on CBS and it brought back this song and had to comment.
  • Robertvp from KyDont know why Gregg's great video I'm no Angel is no longer on You Tube I'm mad as hell
about this as I feel this dishonors Gregg and us his fans. Bummer is right.
  • Catain Mudflap from Mount Dora, FlDoes anyone know why the "I'M NO ANGEL" video. with the girls in the saloon, was removed from you tube?!? Bummer!
  • Flying Gypsy from TexasHe may not have had a lot of chart topping songs ; however he was the epitome of the perfect blues voice and southern rock wouldn’t be as wonderful without all his contributions in sharing his gift
  • Ian from Paddock Lake, WiSong fact: It was featured in the sketch "I'm No Angel" on SNL season 34.
  • Ralph from Cleveland, Oh, OhI have recently connected with this song and am getting "No, I'm No Angel" tattooed on my ass tomorrow. The whole album "I'm No Angel" is tremendous. Buy it!!
  • Jonathan from Huntsville, AlIs this tune available LEGALLY on the web? Not a big Allman fan, but I'd like to hear this every now and then.
  • Eric from Milltown, InGregg Allman is the greatest white blues singer ever, quite possibly the best. This and "Midnight Rider" are prime examples.
  • Ellis from Atlanta, GaGregg had the help of Rodney Mills on this production which always makes a difference. I think Mills helped Gregg find some solid ground in his music therefore in his life.

    God Bless Rodney Mills.
  • Eric from Harlan, TxTwo words: More cowbell!
  • Megan from Ozark, AlI really like this song...I don't know why though
  • Jessy from Bridgewater, Nj"I'm No Angel" is a Gregg Allman song circa 1989. Springsteen had absolutely no involvement in the song. Because to many people the vocals sound a lot like Bruce, it's gotten to be a recurring question.
