  • AnonymousWas Dan Hamilton married twice to Ann and Fredericks or are they the same person?
  • Barry from Sauquoit, NyOn August 9, 1975, Hamilton, Joe Frank & Reynolds performed "Fallin' In Love" on the Dick Clark ABC-TV Saturday-afternoon program 'American Bandstand...
At the time the song was at #15 on Billboard's Hot Top 100 chart, two weeks later it would peak at #1 {for 1 week} and it spent 17 weeks on the Top 100...
It reached #2 {for 1 week} on the Canadian RPM Singles chart, the week it was at #2, the #1 record for that week was "Rhinestone Cowboy" by the late Glen Campbell...
Between 1971 and 1976 the trio had eight* Top 100 records; two made the Top 10, besides "Fallin' In Love", their other Top 10 record was "Don't Pull Your Love", it peaked at #4 {for 2 weeks} on July 11th, 1971...
The trio's last two Top 100 records were under the name of Hamilton, Joe Frank, and Dennison; Tommy Renolds left the trio in 1972 and was replaced by Alan Dennison, but the trio continued to use the original name until it's final two charted records when they changed to Hamilton, Joe Frank, and Dennison...
Sadly, Dan Hamilton passed away at the young age of 48 on December 23rd, 1994 {Cushing's Syndrome}...
May he and Mr. Campbell R.I.P.
  • David from KentuckyThe album, had a pink cardboard inner sleeve, embossed with a rose (or some other flower) in a triangle. It also reeked of some floral sent. The only two other times that I encountered a record stinking (and not just musically), was a cut out album that my older brother bought by a guy named Henry Buckle, and Madonna's "Like A Prayer" album. I had the fun task of working in a record store when that one came out...joy!
  • Steve from Las Vegas, Nv@Phil, here's the link for this version: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uFFPb2QEMIs&feature=player_embedded You can get them by right clicking on the Play Button in the middle of the song window on the right side of the screen. Select "Watch on Youtube". It will open a new window and you can then copy the URL to the one linked here on this site which shows an embedded player. Hope that helps.
  • Phil Ricks from Cumming, GaWhere can I find this particular version to download. Every version that I have found is different. Even Itunes does not have this version.
  • Christopher L. from Fort Worth, Txthis is one of those songs you never grow tired of
  • John from Fort Worth, TxI was visiting some very influential people to me when I first really became aware of the wonderful sound of this song. I was 17. For that and other reasons I will love it forever. I am 46 and I live in Texas.
  • Kevin from Reading , PaPerhaps they should have kept the "Reynolds" for good luck, as they never charted with "Dennison" on the end. I recall "Winners and Losers" being a reasonably successful single right before or right after this one, but I don't know, maybe it didn't crack the Top 40. It got played enough so that I still remember it all these years later.
  • Rich from Brooklyn, NyLET US NOT FORGET THE ORIGINAL PORTION OF THIS GROUP HAD A HIT WITH "NO MATTER WHAT SHAPE (YOUR STOMACH'S IN) BY THE T BONES (IT WAS AN ALAKA SELTZER COMMERCIAL IN THE 60'S )
