  • O-M-G, did you hear I'm dating a Jonas Brother?
    It's so hot

You met in work, you should've known better
It's gonna suck when the camera stops rolling
    And you find out soon
That the treatment wasn't worth it

They're all the same, they all want the money
They're all insane, they live for fame, honey
They laugh at you when you're not even being funny

    Well, I've been here before
And I've seen firsthand and front row seat
This little thing they call a video girl (girl, girl)

Video girl rocked my world for a whole two seconds
And now I know I'm not about to be another victim
    (Of the video girl syndrome)
Get out of my face, get out of my space
Get some class and kiss the past
'Cause I'm not about to be another victim
    Of the video girl syndrome

Know it bad when your momma doesn't like her
All your friends are saying she's a lair
Never ending phone calls aren't enough
(It's not enough, it's never enough)
Move to L.A, got no talent
Not even like you won a miss teen pageant
Daddy pays your bills but you still whine

I've been here before and I've seen
First hand and front row seat
What happens to a man (what happens to a man)
When he gets in the hands of a

Video girl rocked my world for a whole two seconds
And now I know I'm not about to be another victim
    (Of the video girl syndrome)
Get out of my face, get out of my space
Get some class and kiss the past
'Cause I'm not about to be another victim
    Of the video girl syndrome

You are never gonna see me missin'
    Video girl syndrome
I'm not gonna be another victim of the video girl syndrome

    Yeah
    Ohh-whoa-oh

Video girl rocked my world for a whole two seconds
And now I know I'm not about to be another victim
    (I won't be a victim)
Get out of my face, get out of my space
Get some class and kiss the past
'Cause I'm not about to be another victim
    Of the video girl syndrome

    I won't be a victim

  • Marama from Christchurch, New Zealand(Quote Reilly)"Not even like you won a Miss Teen Pageant," Miley had won a Miss Teen Pageant award.(Endquote)

Just want to note that this is flawed logic. The song states "NOT even like you won a Miss Teen Pageant", but you say that Miley DID.

Apparently this is about Zoe Meyers. But to be honest, it kinda fits for a number of their ex-s now.

Also, Kevin makes a rare appearance in the song, he sings the 'pre-echo' of "Video Girl syndrome" in the chorus. Yes, it's still backup, but it's solo backup ;-)
  • Teala from Boston, MaThis song is NOT about Miley, its about Kevin ex-gf zoe myers who was cast in the Year 3000 video.
  • Rahul from Chennai, Indiagood song...not bad at all....fr me this is the best one off the album...
  • Rosalie from New York, NyThis song is definitely about Miley Cyrus! Love the song!
  • Reilly from Arlington, TxThis song was about Miley and Nick. And I'll prove it.

"Moved to L.A. and got no talent," Miley had moved to L.A. and she obviously has no talent.

"Daddy pays your bills and you still whine," Miley had her dad pay 2 million so she could be on T.V.

"Video Girl rocked my world for a whole two seconds" Video Girl representing Miley and the two seconds representing a short period of time.

"Not even like you won a Miss Teen Pageant," Miley had won a Miss Teen Pageant award.

"It's gonna suck when the camera stops rolling," Miley wants to stop Hannah Montana.

And I'm pretty sure you can figure out the rest if your smart enough so bye for now.
  • Samantha from Frankfort, Nythis song is reportedly about kevins ex im not sure her name but she was one of the girls in the video for year 3000 you may want to add that
  • Mischa from Arcadia, CaTess from Camp Rock does the "omg" part at the beginning. :D Just add that to your little songfacts.
