  • It came in the water
    It came with the flood
    It seeped into everything
That we couldn't be rid of
    We bathed in the fountains
And we played in the mud
    We breathed as it rotted
    It got into our blood

And all God's children kept believing
    All God's children believed anyway

It was down in the basement
You were up on your throne
    And while vegetation wasted
We were left picking the bones
    But nobody complained
Fact they said it was right
So they all lit up torches
    And marched into the night

And all God's children kept believing
All God's children believed anyway Lyrics licensed and provided by LyricFind

  • The Pilgrim from Somewhere In AmericaWell, Jerry C from Alabammy just contradicted his own argument by using bigoted, Christophobic language to prove his unsupported and astonishingly ignorant opinion. Racism? Can you give me an instance since Jesus was a Jew brought up by Jews in a Jewish city. Not only that but also condemns Jews for considering Gentiles are pigs and dogs. And yes, we do believe homosexuality is an abomination not only to God but to nature also. If we didn't believe that we would be hypocritical... But everyone says Christians are hypocritical anyway. Maybe if you want to see another hypocrite read your comment!
  • Jp from AlabamaOh, please save the lecture about Christ-like behavior. Way to make Ty's point...
  • Jerry C from AlabammyMaybe the reason Ty wants to distance himself from conservative Christians and orthodox Christianity is he can't stand the racism, homophobia, bigotry and general ignorance perpetually espoused by many of the supposedly 'devout'. Maybe he thinks the sort of people that burned their King's X records when Doug Pinnick came out as gay are violent, contemptible imbeciles who aren't really worth engaging with. Maybe after years of experience, he's realised there's no point discussing anything with prejudiced morons who are incapable of being anything but petty, narcissistic fundamentalist cretins who treat the bible as a literal text. That might be something to do with it.
  • Gdk from NcTy stating that he hates conservative Christians and orthodox Christianity. What a disappointment this band has turned out to be. Early on, they were fine with "Faith Hope and Love" in the the Christian book stores. I guess it's OK to take our money and then slag us off. Real Christ-like behavior, Ty. Maybe you should look in the mirror when you sing this song.
