  • There you go
    Flashing fever from your eyes
    Hey baby
    Come over here
    And shut them tight
    I'm not denyin'
    We're flying above it all
Hold my hand, don't let me fall
    You've such amazing grace
    I've never felt this way

Oh, show me Heaven, cover me
    Leave me breathless
    Oh, show me Heaven, babe

    Here I go
I'm shakin' just like the breeze
    Hey baby
I need your hand to steady me
    I'm not denyin'
I'm frightened as much as you
    Though I'm barely touching you
    I've shivers down my spine
    And it feels divine

Oh, show me Heaven, cover me
    Leave me breathless
    Oh, show me Heaven, babe

If you know what it's like
    To dream a dream
Baby hold me tight and let this be
    Oh, oh, Heaven, Cover me
    Leave me breathless
    Oh, show me Heaven, babe
    Leave me breathless
    Leave me breathless
Cover me, oh yeah Writer/s: Alan Eric Rackin, Jay Rifkin, Maria Louisa McKee

  • Scott from ScotlandI think, knowing what we know now, that Maria is singing about being with another woman here. The lyrics fit so much better!
  • Dustin from NashvilleJeff, I would have agreed with you at one time about Mckee's voice being perfect for this song, that is until I heard two other versions: Laura Branigan's and Tina Arena's. I enjoy all three for various qualities but I must admit, I think Branigan out did the original vocals and the production of Arena's version is pretty majestic.
  • Gunnernkosa from Kampala, UgandaVery great song!!! By the way, does she have any other as good as this???? I find her a one - hit wonder...not to take away the credit though...
  • Craig from Melbourne, AustraliaMan, what ever became of her? Lone Justice were fantastic.
  • Jeff from Los Angeles, CaI love this song. Maria Mckee has the perfect voice for it. It is a beautiful song that I don't think I could ever get tired of hearing
