I'm gonna have myself a real good time
    I feel alive
And the world, I'll turn it inside out, yeah
    And floating around
    In ecstasy

    So, don't stop me now
    Don't stop me
'Cause I'm having a good time
    Having a good time

I'm a shooting star leaping through the sky
Like a tiger defying the laws of gravity
I'm a racing car passing by
    Like Lady Godiva
    I'm gonna go go go
    There's no stopping me

I'm burning through the sky, yeah
    200 degrees
That's why they call me Mr. Fahrenheit
I'm travelling at the speed of light
I wanna make a supersonic man out of you

    Don't stop me now
I'm having such a good time
    I'm having a ball
    Don't stop me now
If you wanna have a good time
    Just give me a call

    Don't stop me now
'Cause I'm having a good time
    Don't stop me now
Yes, I'm having a good time
I don't want to stop at all, yeah

I'm a rocket ship on my way to Mars
    On a collision course
I am a satellite, I'm out of control
I am a sex machine ready to reload
Like an atom bomb about to oh oh oh oh oh explode

I'm burning through the sky, yeah
    200 degrees
That's why they call me Mister Fahrenheit
I'm travelling at the speed of light
I wanna make a supersonic woman of you

Don't stop me, don't stop me
Don't stop me, hey hey hey
Don't stop me, don't stop me
Ooh ooh ooh, I like it
Don't stop me, don't stop me (alright)
Have a good time, good time
Don't stop me, don't stop me
    Ah, let loose, honey, alright

Oh, I'm burning through the sky, yeah
    200 degrees
That's why they call me Mister Fahrenheit (hey)
I'm travelling at the speed of light
I wanna make a supersonic man out of you (hey hey)

    Don't stop me now
I'm having such a good time
    I'm having a ball
    Don't stop me now
If you wanna have a good time (alright)
    Just give me a call

    Don't stop me now
'Cause I'm having a good time (hey hey)
    Don't stop me now
Yes, I'm having a good time
I don't wanna stop at all

  • Becbec from Usa AlabamaI'm pretty certain it was like taking ex or tripping on shrooms and rave dancing with some folks a guy he was crushing on presumable younger guy he knew was not into girls giving him the business. And turning him out. I can't see him singing about his own masterbation experience that is every teenager boy lol this was a big deal to him because he made it up beat and hyper mania intense that people are just now finding it offensive we got kids singing about wap and supermaning position getting head in the back seat of a bummer in usa and the Russian song she will fk making grandma's out of moms ten yrs old dancing to this s--t sex is a industry in america girls wanna be sexy at 10 boys watch porn at this age and we wonder why our worlds the way it is at least this song isnt so vulgar as what out here in music this day in time.
  • Yvette Griffin from Melb AusIt's for vacuuming 'on a mission'
  • Bruno from Fron New OrleansHey fellas, is the part "like lady Godiva" a reference to the Velvet Underground song? It doesn't let me sleep at night
  • Rusty Russell from NcIt is amazing what songwriters can get away with, when the audience is seduced by the beat and rhythm of a song. I ran across an article in BuzzFeed that implies this little ditty is sexual in nature. I had never heard this song so I wanted to read the lyrics first. Freddie wrote it and since he is not around, any interpretation at this point is going to be in the minds of the listeners.

Plus the BBC is notorious for censoring songs and not allowing them to be played on radio stations. But even then if your smart about it stuffy-shirts may not catch on to this playground!
  • Steve W from Wellington, NzI always think Freddie sings Haere Ra (a Maori welcome) in the outro. Probably not, but I suppose we hear what we want to hear.
  • Patrick from No lol its about masturbating guys :P
  • Bridget from CoWhenever I play this song in my room, I almost always dance. And one time, I told the family Amazon Alexa to tell William to stop messing with her, and she played this song lol.
  • Brad from FlThe best ending to “Bohemian Rhapsody” - touché!
  • Suzi from Indianapolis, InThe one place my son, and I really bond is listening to Queen.....I adore Freddie Mercury!!
  • Camille from Toronto, OhFreddy Mercury had SUCH energy, and all the sexual charisma to go with it, and he had a certain kind of edge to the way he put it all out there. This song just builds momentum as it goes along, and most people, at some point, have felt exactly how the lyrics say "don't stop me now 'cause I'm havin' a good time, I don't wanna stop at all."
  • Chris from Saugus, MaI have some great memories tied to this. One night my friends and I were trying to pull an all-nighter so we bought energy drinks. I was really hyper and I was listening to my ipod when this song came on. I was racing my friends and then I won surprisingly because I'm not that fast but then I started dancing. It was really fun except the next day when I was really tired :P
  • Taylor from Dayton, TnI was turned on to queen a year ago and love them. they are the greastest group ever made. they have brought me joy and brought me to tears. i would have given anything to have been able to have seen them in concert just once. if i could spend one day with anyone dead or alive it would Freddie Mercury
  • Justing from Orlando , FlMaybe you just have a messed up brain? (Me too, but I don't think it's about Sex. I thought it was like him having magic powers to fly or something.)
  • Samuel from Peoria, Belgiumgood song but i think its about gay sex just read the lyrics then you will see
  • Joan from Amsterdam, NetherlandsI love thins song so much! It makes me feel happy=]
  • Alessandro from Danbury, Onthis song is awesome-just like we are the champions.
  • Ryan from Farmer City, IlThis song is one of my favorites to listen to while driving around town or for long distances.
  • Ched - from La Union, PhilippinesI LOVE THIS SONG.... i have a queen videoke cd and i just love singing this song... all my nephews and nieces love watching me sing. there are also occasions that they borrow my cd and they enjoy singing this song.
  • Matthew from Milford, MaHave you seen the EBA video of this on YouTube? This song isn't actually in Elite Beat Agents, but somebody made a funny video based on the EBA concept featuring this song.
  • Matthew from Milford, MaIf any Queen song would be best in the credits of a movie, it's We are the Champions.
  • Nerius from Vilnius, EuropeIn 2005, this song was voted as "The Greatest Driving Song Ever" by viewers of the BBC television program Top Gear, but the trophy given to Roger Taylor (as Freddy is dead and May doesn't like the song) was mis-engraved, reading Stop Me Now. James May explained it being a result of a clumsy engraver.
  • Daniel from Springfield, MaI like to trip to this song. It's awesome.
  • Kaylee from Beattyville, KyThis is seriously a favorite song of mine. It's a very catchy song and it cheers me up every time I listen to it.
  • Marissa from Is This Optional?, OhThis may make me sound like someone who hasn't listened to very much Queen (in fact I only have their greatest hits CD) but Don't Stop Me Now is my favorite Queen song and quite possibly my favorite song ever. My best friend and I are the biggest fans of the song ever, me because it's completely awesome and she because it's in "Shaun of the Dead."
  • Daniel from Springfield, MaThis a great high-energy number, and a proud display of Queen unquestionable musical ablitly(not to mention Freddie Mercury's unquestionable queerness), and the album Jazz is by and large my favorite Queen record. It's actually a great song to listen to when you're trippin'.
  • Angharad from Newport , Walesi think queen is a awesome band my dad loves all their songs and so do i!!!
i think dont stop me now is the best one of all time i have got it on my mp3 player and i dont mean to sound nastey but Mcfly are not good enough to sing it!!!!
it gets your heart pumping ecspiecily iff your my age...
it is my favourite song and i love it and freddie murcury is the best singer i have ever heard in my life...

    Angharad Rudge, wales, trinant, gwent
    diolch-thankyou
  • Caitlin from Upper Township, Njawesome song. Queen is one of the best rock bands ever and I love this song! Its very fun and upbeat. you get fired up just listening to it!
  • Jonathon from Clermont, FlThis is one of Queen's best songs. It's very funny how he talks about men AND women in the song, and I never hold it against Freddy that he was a bisexual, because it likely contributed to the way he carried himself on stage and expressed himself through music. I'm straight, but I LOVE Freddy.
  • Caitlyn from Jacksonville, FlI love this song, though it sounds like it should be played during the credits at the end of a movie.
