  • Eric from Milwuakee, WiI totally agree with Danny. There's more to it too. Closed circuit cameras (he recorded it). The two people passing on the street is the woman that was raped and someone else (jigsaw dropped the video onto the net). Wish away the nightmare. You got a light on your back. Not only did she get raped, the predator gets off on sharing the rape and imagining her humiliation.
  • Danny from Manchester, United KingdomI think this song could even be about date rape rather than just a chaotic date or night out with a woman.

the lyric 'before you're comatose' could refer to the moments before the a date rape drug takes effect. This would also fit in with the lyrics 'walls abandon shape' 'you got a chesire cat grin' 'all blurring into one'

'before the animal noises' refers to the deed itself

'before you run away from me'
girl regains her consciousness and is able to flee.

    'what's the point of instruments
words are a sawed off shotgun'

may mean that what is the point of making the effort to speak and chat with a woman and take the time to woo her when the man can get what he wants by slipping a pill into her drink.

    'wish away the nightmare'

either refers to the poor woman trying to forget the fateful night or the man's guilt wishing he had never committed the act.
