  • I'll always love you for the rest of my days.
You have won my heart and my soul with your sweet, sexy ways.
You gave me hope when I needed someone near.
You bring me happiness every day of every year.

I'll always love you for all that you are.
You have made my life complete, you're my lucky star.
You are the one that I've been searching for.
You are my everything, tell me who could ask for more.

And I'll always love you, Honey, this will never end.
I need you by my side, baby, you're my lover, my friend. My friend.

You gave my world a thrill I've never known.
And filled my eager heart with a love to call my own.

And I'll always love you, you must know how much I do.
You can count on me forever and I will take good care of you.

I'll always love you, I'm so happy that you're mine.
I'll always love you, yes, till the end of time. Writer/s: COBB ED, ED COBB

  • Annabelle from Eugene, OrAlthough the writing credit for the lyrics was given to Jimmy George, the words were inspired by a love letter Dayne wrote to her husband in 1985. Taylor met her soon-to-be husband in 1980 when she was 18. At that time, she knew that he would be just the right kind of guy for her. However, there was only one problem, he was 13! After 4 years of going steady love, they were married in 1985. He was 18, and Taylor was 23. Shortly after their wedding, Taylor sat down and wrote a nice long love letter to her husband. Taylor's poignant words told of wedded bliss and true love to last forever, making the song a favorite at weddings. When Taylor met Ric Wake in late 1985, he suggested that she put those lyrics to music. It was then that Ric sent her to Jimmy George. When Taylor read these lyrics to Jimmy, his heart pounded the whole time. Jimmy looked over and said to her, "Taylor, you've really touched my heart with those lyrics." Jimmy then sat down behind his keyboard, and within an hour and a half, he composed a melody for Taylor's lyrics.
