  At the time the NYC quartet's "Did You Ever Have to Make Up Your Mind?" was at #4 on Billboard's Hot Top 100 chart; the two previous weeks it was at #2* and that was its peak position on the chart {See next post below}...
  * Must have been a great concert; besides the Beach Boys other acts were the Byrds, Percy Sledge, Chad & Jeremy, the Leaves, Love, the Outsiders, and Capt. Beefheart.
• Barry from Sauquoit, NyOn May 1st 1966, "Did You Ever Have To Make Up Your Mind?" by the Lovin' Spoonful entered Billboard's Hot Top 100 at position #65; and on June 5th it peaked at #2 (for 2 weeks) and spent a 11 weeks on the Top 100 (and for 6 of those 11 weeks it was on the Top 10)...
  The two weeks it was at #2, the #1 record for both those weeks was "Paint It Black" by the Rolling Stones...
  It reached #6 on the Canadian RPM Singles chart...
  It was their 2nd straight #2 record, "Daydream" also reached #2 for 2 weeks; but their next release, "Summer In The City", did peak at #1 (for 3 weeks)...
  Guitarist Zal Yanovsky passed away on December 13th, 2002 at the young age of 57...
