  • I can't hide the way I feel about you anymore
I can't hold the hurt inside, keep the pain out of my eyes anymore

    My tears no longer waiting
    My resistance ain't that strong
My mind keeps recreating a life with you alone
    And I'm tired of pretending
    I don't love you anymore

Let me make one last appeal
To show you how I feel about you, mm hm
'Cause there's no one else I swear holds a candle anywhere
    Next to you, mm hm

My heart can't take the beating
    Not having you to hold
    A small voice keeps repeating
    Deep inside my soul
It says I can't keep pretending
    I don't love you anymore

I've got to take the chance or let it pass by
If I expect to get on with my life

    My tears no longer waiting
Oh, my resistance ain't that strong
    Oh, my mind keeps recreating
    A life with you alone
    And I'm tired of pretending
    I don't love you anymore

  • Kahnietahawi from Quebec, CanadaThis song is one which has alot of meaning and has brought me and my love back together again.
  • Lkh from Fort Knox, KentuckyStuck in-house, due to Co-Vid outbreak, has opened up a lot of different generes. Loving this music and heart felt songs.
  • Camille from Toronto, OhTravis Tritt is one of the underrated county singers from the 1990s. I’m not sure why that is. Perhaps it’s because he comes across as the guy next door who makes strumming a guitar and singing look so effortless. I love all of his hits from this time period, and “Anymore” is exceptional. His voice is steady and even throughout most of the song as he reveals feelings of love he can no longer pretend to have for a woman in his life. Towards the end, he kicks in the passion, declaring, “And I’m tired of pretending I don’t LOVE you anymore!” Well, it makes the whole song. You wait to hear that heartfelt declaration of love. Oh, and the video adds one more layer of amazing to the lo song.
