Songfacts®:

  • One of Agnostic Front's most popular songs, "Gotta Go" became a hardcore anthem. The group's lead singer Roger Miret wrote the lyrics; he told Songfacts: "It's one of those songs like you've just got to leave the situation. You've got to get out of it. Whatever it is, I've got to go, I don't want to hear it, I don't want to hear this, I don't want to hear that."
  • Tim Armstrong and Lars Frederiksen of Rancid sang backup on this one.

  • AnonymousYou better check your facts. Roger didn't write the lyrics...and the music was not written by anyine in tge band. In fact the lead guitar wasn't even played by a band member......anymore than Eric clapton wrote the words to crossroad blues.....
