Songfacts®:

  • East London MC Rome "Arz" Myers originally considered pursuing a career in Criminal Justice, but his first love was rapping. After three months at college studying criminology, sports and law, Myers dropped out to pursue a music career.

Arz recorded his debut EP, Love Letters, during lockdown and dropped it on April 15, 2021. "Alone With You" became his first hit after it went viral on Tik Tok.
  • The song is a heartfelt ode to his girlfriend. Unlike many songs of the rap genre, "Alone With You" is actually quite romantic. The MC tells his sweetheart he's never had a girl like her before. He doesn't want to just rap about sex, but also about flowers, kisses, and watching late-night movies together. Arz just wants to be alone with his babe.
  • The song samples Billie Eilish's vocals from the first verse of her 2017 track "Hostage."
  • American producer Roland "PlutoBrazy" Hannah created the beat. PlutoBrazy's other credits include Rod Wave's "Richer" and Toosii's "Euphoria."
