Songfacts®:

  • Brandy reflects on love that's too good to be true on the second single from her sixth album, Two Eleven. "It's hard to hold back tears," she croons. "Whenever you hold me close. I think about the years and been saying, 'This is all I want'. Just wanted someone real to love me for me, me, just Brandy." Brandy probably found inspiration in her music executive boyfriend, Ryan Press, when she recorded the Sean Garrett penned tune. The heartfelt ballad was released on August 28, 2012.
